ART 2910 - Photography: Science & Syntax

A survey of principle concepts and driving forces pertaining to the invention & evolution photography. Students will be introduced to the quest for capturing light and examine the science and technology that propelled photography into its current practice. Lectures and discussions will also investigate photography as a visual communication tool and creative & expressive medium. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 2: Exploration and Discovery – Science and Technology Category.
