This major is designed for students who wish to study American government and public policy in depth, yet gain exposure to the broader discipline of political science as well. It aims to prepare students to pursue advanced degrees or careers in policy making, politics, law and public service.
Students interested in a Public Policy major should see the designated departmental advisor.
A grade of “C” or better is required in all courses in the Public Policy major.

For the Public Policy major, a student must complete the following: One international relations or comparative politics course to be chosen from:

Three of the following courses:
Two additional PSCI courses at 2000-level or above (6 hours)
